The cell wall is like the containment structure. This is because just like the
containment structure protects the nuclear power plant, the cell wall protects
the cell.
The cell membrane is like the security guards of a nuclear power plant. Just
like guards control who goes in and out, the cell membrane controls what goes in
and out of the cell.
The nucleus is like the reactor of the nuclear power plant. Just like the reactor
controls the power plant, the nucleus controls the cell.
The cytoplasm is like the rooms in the plant because the power plant's rooms
house the parts of the power plant just like the cytoplasm houses the organelles.
The mitochondria are like the steam generators in the power plant. It produces steam to make electricity
just like the mitochondria makes energy to power the ribosomes to make proteins.
The ribosomes are like the electric generators in nuclear power plants because
the electric generators create electricity just like the ribosomes make the proteins.
The golgi body is like the transformer because the transformer gets electricity ready to go by adjusting it
just like the golgi body gets proteins ready to go.
The ER is like the powerline because the powerline moves electricity along to the city
just like the ER moves the proteins to be digested.
The lysosomes are like the waste managment systems in power plants.
Just like waste managment breaks down fissure, lysosomes break down protein.
The vacuole is like the spent fuel storage, since just like the storage pool stores used fuel,
the vacuole stores the waste produced by the cell.
The chloroplast is like the entire nuclear powerplant, because like the power plant produces energy
from nuclear fissure the chloroplast produces food from sunlight.
The nucleolus is like the people who built the plant because they
build the electric generator just like the nucleolus builds the ribosomes.
The protein is like the electricity produced from the power plant because the proteins
were produced from the ribosomes, and the generator and the ribosomes are alike.
